Job Purpose
The postholder will primarily be responsible for the delivery of a range of techncial services to support musical, conference and other events within the Bramall Music Building. The technicians main area of responsiblity is the Elgar Concert Hall within the building, however technical assistance within the Great Hall situated in the Aston Webb building will also form one of the key requirements of the role.
Person Specification
Flexible attitute to working on shows, get ins/outs as well as a proactive approach to helping maintain and imrpove the venues technical systems and building infrastructure.
Able to effectively communicate with both clients and colleagues using various methods aand to present facts to support a particular rationale.
Willing to participate in life at the University promoting its role positively in the community.
Substantial experience in the live events industry or venue.
