Winterbourne House is a stimulating and relaxing environment for any style of event, with a range of versatile meeting spaces.
All of the meeting rooms have a backdrop of Winterbourne Botanic Garden, home to striking colour-themed borders, a beautiful hazelnut tunnel, Woodland Walk and 1930’s Japanese Bridge and Tea House. As well as having access to the garden, the ground floor of the house is a heritage attraction – where delegates can delve into the rich history of Winterbourne, built for the prestigious Nettlefold family in 1903.
The Terrace Tea Room at Winterbourne House and Garden is a fully licensed venue, serving delicious light lunches and cream teas throughout the day, and available for hire in the evening. To enter the tea room during the day, you will first need to pay for admission to the site. University of Birmingham staff and students enjoy free access on production of a valid ID card.
It also provides the perfect setting for an informal evening function, accommodating up to 100 people. The light and spacious room can cater for drink receptions or informal buffets and guests can enjoy the heritage rooms and use the Terrace - overlooking the stunning formal lawns and herbaceous borders.
The Garden can also be hired for exclusive use, making a perfect spot for product launches, location shoots and private functions - including naming ceremonies, anniversary parties and drinks receptions.
See the Winterbourne House and Garden website for more information about visiting to view the house and garden and see the Winterbourne House and Garden buffet menu for catering options available in these rooms.
