Self catering accommodation in Elgar Court

Located at the north of the Vale Village, Elgar Court is one of the University’s halls of residence. It has 804 en suite rooms in five or six bed flats and 36 apartments with double beds. This is a very popular site due to its pleasant views and close location to the campus.

Each flat contains: a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and a kettle plus full cutlery and crockery sets and a full range of cooking implements and utensils.  Accommodation is in single ensuite bedrooms arranged in fully-furnished flats of 6 with shared kitchen facilities.

At the heart of the village is The Hub which boasts a number of facilities for Vale Village guests to use. It comprises of Fusion (a dining area and venue space); Bar One (bar & club); Costcutter convenience store and vending machines.

The Vale Village is fully self contained and set in acres of beautiful parkland with a large lake and gardens.  A few minutes walk from The Vale is the University of Birmingham Conference Park. There are two restaurants and a bar for resident and non-resident guests to use. Lucas House restaurant and bar is open for breakfast, and evening meals. Car parking is available for a charge.  The Vale Village is approximately 3km from the Birmingham city centre and is set in a relaxing conservation area with its own lake.
